We believe the most neglected part of the strategy process is the bit in the middle - the formulation of viable strategy options and then the process of screening them into successful business solutions.
Adopting the right approach to designing the screening criteria and then using them rigorously to select the optimum strategy is as much an art as a science, often resulting in hybridising different strategy options to maximum effect.
